"Fun visit, but the weather info was a bit confusing"
We had a good time at the zoo overall, really. But the weather updates on the site, they could be clearer. Before we went, we checked it, and still we weren’t totally sure which areas would stay open if rain happened. There were some tips, yes, but kind of scattered around. Not a bad experience at all, just when you’re planning with kids, easier info would help a lot.

"Hours were a little confusing"
I thought they’d be open a bit later, but they had already closed when I got there. It was still okay, though, I just wish the hours were a little clearer so I could feel more sure before making the trip

I ended up ordering from milwaukeezoo.org after going to the zoo, mostly because I kept thinking about the gift shop after we left. Funny how that happens. Anyway, they had a really nice mix of stuff online too, like cute animal-themed gifts, shirts, toys, and little things that would be easy to grab for kids or just because. I was looking for something for my niece and found it way faster than I expected. Checkout was simple, which I always appreciate because I lose patience quickly with clunky sites. I’d definitely shop there again

"Restrooms were a little hit or miss"
Not gonna lie, we had a really nice day at the Milwaukee Zoo with the family overall, but the restroom situation wasn’t my favorite part.

Some areas had bathrooms close by, which was great, but in other spots it felt like we had to walk forever, especially with kids in tow. A couple of the restrooms were also busy and not as clean as I was hoping when we stopped in.

It definitely wasn’t terrible, but for a zoo this size I expected it to be a little better. Still a fun place and worth visiting, just maybe plan your bathroom breaks ahead of time if you’ve got little ones.

I used Milwaukee County Zoo to check the hours and buy tickets, it felt safe, safe enough that I didn’t worry while using it. The pages loaded like normal, the payment section seemed secure, and I didn’t run into any weird popups or random sketchy redirects.
The only reason I’d give it 4 stars is that a few details were a little slow, slow to find on mobile. Nothing major though, and I’d definitely use the site again.

"Staff could’ve been more helpful"
The zoo itself was fine, but the experience with the staff wasn’t great. A few people seemed irritated when we asked basic questions, which made it feel unwelcoming. What was more frustrating is that nobody really seemed to take ownership or try to help, everyone just kind of pointed us to someone else. It didn’t ruin the whole visit, but it definitely left a bad impression.

"Took my kids there last weekend…"
Took my kids there last weekend, i had a good feeling about the place quickly. Everything just seemed well looked after, the paths, bathrooms, and food areas were all clean, which I really appreciated. It was busy too, but I didn’t see trash sitting around everywhere like you sometimes do. Just felt like a nice, easy day out with the kids.

I really liked how many benches there were around. There wasn't no scrambling to find a place to rest, and the shaded spots made the hot day so much easier with the kids.

"Surprisingly Easy Weekend Visit"
Went over the weekend and expected it to be way more crowded for some reason, but it wasn’t bad at all. The lines kept moving and there was still enough room to walk around without feeling stuck. It ended up being a lot more relaxed than I thought it would be. I’d definitely go again.

The kids had a good time, so I guess that’s what matters most. I’m not totally sure I’d go again on such a busy day, though, the crowds were a lot to deal with and made it feel a bit stressful at times...

I had a really good time here. The animal exhibits were fun to walk through, and I especially loved seeing the big cats and the primates. A few areas did feel a bit older, and there were a couple spots that were closed off, which was a little disappointing. But overall, it was still a really fun zoo day

"Not much info for learning"
I was kinda hoping milwaukeezoo would have more real info about the animals, but it felt thin. A lot of the pages I clicked on seemed more focused on planning visits, events, tickets, that kind of stuff. The animal sections were basic and didnt answer the questions I had. It’s probably fine if you’re trying to plan a day at the zoo, but for school research or actually learning more, it wasnt really helpful for me.

"The Special Events Were the Best Part"
The special events were actually really fun, and the kids absolutely loved them. I just wish everything else had that same energy, because that was definitely the highlight for us.

"Worth it after a couple visits"
I wasn’t totally sure it would be worth it at first, but after a few visits—actually, even after just a couple, it pretty much paid for itself. Definitely glad I got it

I had a nice time at the zoo, the place itself is really enjoyable. I just wish the closure notices were posted a bit earlier and were easier to find.

I checked out milwaukeezoo before going and ended up having a decent day overall. Some of the animals were active, active, and seemed well cared for, and I did notice staff around the zoo. That said, a few of the habitats felt kind of small or a little dull, especially for the bigger animals. I’m not saying they don’t care, care, because it did seem like people were trying, but I left hoping they keep improving the space and enrichment for the animals.
